Company Vision
I set up Thermogen Ltd because I am passionate about the environment and have had a long interest in renewable energy. I felt that lots of people were talking about solar energy, but not many people were actually getting out there and doing it. I wanted to get on with it, so I got together with two of my friends who have similar interests, and we got the business started.
I have a background in energy engineering and I am also a plumber, so I was well placed to understand all the aspects required for making solar energy work in the UK.
I hope we can help you to use solar energy and that you enjoy the process of working with us. Most days it is hard to find good news about the state of our planet and the outlook for our collective future, but we take heart from what we do, and the positive effect it will have on Children and Grand children.
Mike Soroka - Founder Thermogen Ltd.
Mike Soroka is the founder of Thermogen Ltd, and has been installing Solar Hot Water systems and other small scale renewable energy systems for over three years; he has been involved in renewable energy technologies for the last five years after his spell with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. He is a plumber with a wide range of practical experience, and is also a qualified Solar Hot Water installer. Mike’s main role is survey, installation and commissioning, he still enjoys visiting people in their homes to help them chose their Solar solution.

Lee Byrne is the Sales director. He joined Thermogen after several years as a sales director for Powerline…. a Lincoln based electrical contractors business. He has an excellent knowledge of renewable energy systems, and is also a qualified Solar Hot Water installer.
Lee’s Main role is sales and marketing, and will be the person you would most likely meet to discuss your renewable energy solution. Lee is dedicated to providing the correct solution for the customers needs.

Rob Vine is the Business Director. He joined Thermogen after ten years as a production Director for RCV Contracts Ltd. He has a great enthusiasm for all things renewable, and has his ear to the ground for new products that arrive onto the marketplace.
Rob’s main role is company development, and strategy, and runs the business on a day to day basis.
