Solar Sky Lights - Products
Sky Tunnel Flexi Tube
Sky Tunnel Flexi Tube efficiently channels daylight into areas normally devoid of natural light. The Flexi-tube makes installation easy, requiring much less accuracy than with the rigid system. Sky Tunnel can be installed in less than two hours.
Sky Tunnel Rigid Tube
Sky Tunnel Rigid Tube is designed for commercial applications such as offices, retail outlets, warehousing and industrial properties.
Utilising a hard wearing, highly polished, rigid tube coupled to the large diameter dome and diffuser, natural light can be introduced to areas that normally require constant artificial lighting. Large areas, especially those with higher ceilings, will see a greater level of light.
Alternatively, a smaller diameter rigid unit can be used in comparison to the flexible system. Sky Tunnel can be installed in less than two hours.
Sky Lightport
Sky Lightport guides daylight into loft conversion rooms with flat or vaulted roofs. The units offered provide controlled passive ventilation.
Mounted under the crystal clear roof dome the highly polished stainless steel inner rim deflects daylight into the room so the homeowner can enjoy extra natural light at the darkest parts of the day.
Sky Light Port comes with a metre of Flexi-tube.
Sky Air Extract
Sky Air Extract features an electric fan ventilation system coupled to either the 400mm or 500mm diameter Sky Tunnel.
Ideal for bathrooms, toilets, shower rooms and utility rooms, where condensation and fumes can be a problem. The soaker tray is designed to incorporate the Sky Air Extract and Sky Tunnel, which means there is only one penetration in the roof and ceiling.
Exhaust capacity is 200,000 litres per hour or 55.5 litres per second.
Heritage Sky Tunnel
Heritage Sky Tunnel efficiently pipes daylight into historic and period buildings. The Sola Skylights Heritage Sky Tunnel is an economic alternative that has a traditional looking polycarbonate roof window fitted in lieu of the standard dome.
It is recommended that the relevant conservation/area planning authority be consulted before specifying Heritage Sky Tunnel.
A Heritage Sky Tunnel specification sheet for planning and building control is available on request.
